Digital Photographs
Digital photos need to be taken at a high resolution. This allows altering your JPG size without compromising color and clarity. Photoshop is a great program to use to ensure images have a 300dpi resolution setting.

Scanned Images
Scanned photographs should be scanned at 300dpi resolution. Also, scan your image at the size you want it in your document. Images can be saved as TIFF or EPS files preserving color and clarity.

Web Images
Most web images have poor resolution, so we suggest not using them.

Font Submission
You may need to submit the fonts that BlackInkGeeks.com does not have. Simply locate your fonts and send them along with your files. We will have most fonts, and will work to match any font you would like to use but can't locate.

Bleeds
If you want your design to go to the edge of the paper, make sure your design size is a quarter inch larger than the document size. For instance, if the final size of your file is 8.5" x 11", then make your document size 8.75" x 11.25". As you create your design, be sure to extend it out to the guides of the layout program.
